With styling this shot I really wanted to consider colour co-ordination. I had no previous experience before this shoot of shooting footwear, so this allowed me to explore the realm of footwear photography in more depth. Thinking particularly about positioning and in what angle the shoe looks best. Working with flash also allowed me to capture at night time, again, something I had previously not done. And although a challenge- I feel as if I succeeded in my aims that I set in place going into the shoot. Capturing the shoe in more of a 'natural' state. Pairing the shoe with 'underground' London brand 'Corteiz'. Offering an insight into how the shoe is typically styled within our UK, London culture.
