Thomas shoot- CP Company/ Carhartt look
look/ shoot day/ process-
With this shoot, me and model Thomas (my cousin), were visiting Wales and thought it would be silly not to shoot a look I'd had in mind for the previous couple of weeks. Whilst we were surrounded by such interesting and versatile landscapes, we thought we would make the most of it. As the shoot only consisted of one look, it was good as it meant the model did not have to change-which has sometimes proved a problem/difficulty. I really wanted to consider the tones of the subject and the clothing, then matching that with the colour pallet of the background in each of the images.
I try and implement the idea of tones/colours and carefully selecting locations in order to build a narrative for each shoot. Almost as if selecting a set for a movie to be filmed in. I believe aesthetic and background is just as important as the subject of each image.
